Very confused by this company..Order was dispatched within a few hours which was very impressive... but the order never came. A week later I contacted and a replacement was ordered. The customer service was polite and efficient, and was told a refund had been processed for the items which were now out of stock so couldn't be replaced. I didn't get any refund notification via an automated email which I thought was a little odd for an established ecom store but ok, sure, let's see. Replacement order goes out straight away via a different delivery serive, again, so efficient...... but once again the order never gets to me. Within 24 hours it had been 'returned to sender'. Again, contacted customer service - understandably I'm no longer feeling confident in this company and refund was requested. Received another speedy and polite response, "The whole order has been refunded". But no refund notification again or follow up and I'm feeling quite uneasy now. More than two weeks later, no refund, no order in sight, no contact. I'm now forced into the position of contacting my bank to dispute the purchase which is not the route you really want to go down. This company has confused me, because they have a great range of products, and their customer ervice seemed good, but I'm simply out of pocket with no explanation and can't imagine I'll give them another chance.

Excellent customer service in my experience - I ordered a bulk delivery which arrived next day during Christmas week. It was missing a minor part of the order, I phoned and talked to a very friendly staff member - and the item was with me by 7.30am the next morning! Very impressive.

Hermes delivered the parcel opened with no item inside.

I was very pleased with my first order. The parcel arrived with the products wrapped in eco friendly packaging. However the bag of rice had burst open, and was everywhere, particularly caught up in the stretchy paper wrappings, so my kitchen looked as those there’d been a ‘rice explosion’ by the time I’d unwrapped all of the products!

The product, a planter, I wanted was out of stock but I was emailed promptly when it was available again. Promptly despatched and extremely well-packaged, the planter itself is excellent and almost better thatn I had hoped for. A good experience.

Found this site when searching for a Bokashi bucket. It's now set to become a favourite 'Go To'. The site is easy to use, they stock a wide range of useful things and service is fast and efficient. It's nice to find a place with such a wide range of items all ethically produced and sourced and at reasonable prices.

Fantastic quality products ethically sourced. I am a regular customer for tea and coffee. All exceptional products. Feels good to also buy responsibly and help fair trade in my small way.

I am so grateful to ethical superstore, which saw me through total lockdown, keeping me supplied with veggie and vegan foods not on sale in our small local shop. I love the recycled packaging, the care taken to make sure very item arrives safely and the vast range of delicious products to choose from. You can buy in confidence, knowing that everything has been fair traded and ethically sourced.

I find their web site easy to use and with plenty of information, particularly the eco and ethical credentials, to make informed choices. The ability to add charitable donations is also very useful.
